World Economic Forum (WEF): Modi will visit Davos today, meet with more than 100 CEOs to explain India’s development: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Davos on January 22 to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) five-day annual meeting.There is a plan to meet 100 big business leaders in the world, where PM Modi will make them aware of the development and reforms of the country (‘Make in India’ agenda).He will also be the keynote speaker at the inauguration ceremony of the WEF.

इस फोरम की स्थापना 1971 में यूरोपियन प्रबंधन के नाम से जिनेवा विश्वविद्यालय में कार्यरत Professor क्लॉस एम श्वाब द्वारा की गई थी।

सदस्यता के लिए वह कंपनी चुने जाते हैं जो विश्व भर में अपने उद्योग में अग्रणी होते हैं

इस बैठक में लगभग 2,500 people लोग भाग लेते हैं जिसमें विश्व जगत के, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय राजनीतिज्ञ, गिने चुने बुद्धिजीवी और पत्रकार प्रमुख होते हैं। इसमें उन विषयों पर चर्चा होती है जिस पर world विश्व समुदाय की चिंतन अत्यावश्यक मानी जाती है।
